The State Council has announced an adjustment to the public holiday schedule for the year 2025 effective from January 1, 2025.
January 28th , Chinese New Year's Eve and May 2nd, Labour Day will be recognized as official public holidays in addition to the existing holidays, increasing the total number of public holidays from 11 to 13 days.
